Payment Process:
Medical & Clinical Research is an open-access journal, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription fees. To sustain the costs associated with high-quality editorial services, peer review, and online hosting, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is required.
Payments are requested only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following a rigorous peer-review process. Authors will receive a formal acceptance letter along with payment instructions. The journal does not impose submission or review fees.
Accepted Payment Methods:
We offer the following modes of payment for APC transactions:
- PayPal: A secure online payment gateway for fast and efficient transactions.
- Bank Transfer: Direct bank transfers can be made using the details provided upon acceptance. Authors must ensure all transaction charges are covered at their end.
Refund Policy:
Medical & Clinical Research follows a strict no-refund policy once a payment has been made. The reasons for this policy are as follows:
- Editorial and Peer Review Costs: Significant resources are allocated for manuscript handling, peer review, and editorial processing. These services are rendered even before the payment request is made.
- Permanent Open Access Publication: Once an article is processed and prepared for publication, it is assigned a DOI and made permanently available to the public. Due to the irreversible nature of open- access publishing, refunds cannot be granted.
- Journal Operations and Commitments: The APC covers various operational expenses, including website maintenance, indexing services, PDF development, DOI activation, and digital archiving, all of which contribute to the integrity and sustainability of the journal.
- Author Responsibility: Authors are informed of the APC policy before making a payment. By proceeding with the payment, authors acknowledge that they have read and agreed to the terms.
